Summary of the past weeks! ♥

Hey Gals, how was your summer?

My summer was basically non-existant, due to horrible rainy weather in Germany... I rarely go the chance to wear any of my sexy summer clothes, what a giant waste!! I'm still upset that autumn is already here... Q__Q

I've been asked why I went on a hiatus again... it actually has a very happy reason! I'm getting married this month! ♥ (Just at the register office for now, but yay! xD)

I'm super excited and happy, I hope you all can be happy with me! 25.10. will be the big day ♥

Well, but such an important event also comes with lot's of preparation work... which explains my hiatus, I think. ;D

I'm going to wear my Jesus Diamante dress for the wedding ♥

I hope I can be a beautiful bride ♥

Some of you might know that my future husband is coming from Taiwan... his native languages are Taiwanese and Chinese (but he's also fluent in English and German), so I decided to learn Mandarin!

Obviously, this is just a random page of one of my study books. lol ~ Way too advanced Chinese here! I'm still at a beginner level. =P

It's still quite hard for me, especially because of the writing... I have to work out a learning strategy. xD" Thanks god I have the best teacher at my home ♥

Besides Chinese, I also improved my Gel-Nail skills, I guess! ♥

Favorite Nail-Set so far... I especially liked the middle finger! That's gonna be my wedding nails ♥

My coworkers always make fun of me, because any of my nails looks different... they won't believe it's supposed to be like this. lol

That was my Mermaid-style Nail-Set... wasn't too happy with this, but at least it gave me a little summer vibe.^^"

I also got new clip-in hair extensions from dirtylooks! They're really fabulous ♥ But I had a hard time to tone them to the matching color...

 2nd hand d.i.a shorts ♥

I'm so happy to fit into d.i.a pants, I can't even describe the feeling! ='D

Super sexy d.i.a pants! Needed them in my life after I saw Yumachi wearing them on an EGG photoshooting ♥

 2nd hand d.i.a top! It's super sexy as usual, but unfortunately it makes my boobs look like meatloafs. ~.~ I guess I'm going to sell it soon!

ABSOLUTE FAVORITE D.I.A SET-UP SO FAR!! 

The first time I saw it on mbok was in February... but I couldn't bring myself to buy it, because it was quite expensive. Same thing in April, and then I couldn't forget about it anymore. (God, I am so sick. lol) When I saw it still for sale on mbok last month, I took a heart and bid on it! BEST DECISION EVER!

The skirt has built in shorts, and the material is fluffy and warm! I already have unlimited outfit ideas with this! :´D

Super comfy Ghost of Harlem shirt, because I'm absolutely into wings atm! ♥

Super cute Ma*rs Set I exchanged with Chewiee ♥ That's actually the back of the top, the front is just plain black - thought this side is more interesting. =P

Somehow I didn't take any full outfit photos recently, just some snapshots... but better then nothing, I guess. =/

That's actually a year old, I just happened to find it on my cellphone. lol

I was in Tokio back then, this was my cozy outfit for exploring Ikebukuro. =) I've met some super sweet girls at the train-station back then, they were all like "Wah, kawaii! Neko-chan!!" I wish I would have been brave enough to ask for a photo with them, they were so pretty and cute! Q__Q *forever too chicken*

Topic of the day: Put as much d.i.a on your body as you can. CHALLENGE ACCEPTED. lol

Hey sweethearts! ♥♥

I've sold quite a lot of 2nd hand stuff recently, so I got myself some new (means... 2nd hand from mbok, lol) stuff from Japan. I've used Treasure Japan as shopping service this time - it's easier then all the shopping services I dealt with before, I'm super happy with the whole process! Definately gonna use their service again. =)

So here's what I got ♥

d.i.a top

 LOVED this ever since I've seen it on EGG magazine years ago, I cried happy tears when I finally held it in my hands! :'D The colors are so strong, and the print is amazingly well done - I could just stare at the top for half a day instead of actually wearing it. ~lol
Gonna pair it with sexy hotpants, lace up platforms, heavy bracelets and a cowboy hat. And gawd, I need a REALLY dark tan... *adding "tanning" to my to-do-list* =P

d.i.a button up jacket

Well, not so reasonable to buy this kinda jacket at this time of the year, right? xD" But it was such a cheap deal that I just couldn't resist. AND temperatures are so chilly in Germany atm that I already got to wear the jacket twice! WIN! xD
It's a thinner kind of cloth, so it's more suited for spring / autumn weather. However, it's really sexy when worn, though it comes a tiny tad short on me.

d.i.a sailor dress

 

YESSSSSS I GOT IT! Finally!

Another item that was on my wishlist for really long time - the infamous d.i.a sailor dress in navy blue!! 

It actually turned out to be a romper kind of garment, having safety shorts sewed in - which I obviously find AWESOME! *__* (nothing better then sewed in shorts... seriously.:'D)

My favorite part is the sailor collar, obviously ♥

d.i.a neon neckholder top

I actually wanted to purchase lot's of neon colored pieces, but I ended up with mostly dark / black stuff. This is one of the rare neon pieces. lol

I casually stumbled upon this top while browsing mbok, and it was love at 1st sight. :'D

Looks quite unspectacular like this, but OMG - it's so sexy when worn! It has a good amount of stretch and a lacing in the back, so it's very snug on the body ♥

Yumetenbo cutsew

A really cheap find! I found it looks very similiar to some d.i.a pieces, so I had to include it to my order list. :'D Unfortunately it's a bit too big on me... I hope to find a way to fix this problem, because it's a really gorgeous and comfy piece to wear! Q__Q

Oh, and I also got this Black Diamond uniform set from Diamant Rose Webshop!

I've been lusting over this for REALLY LONG, but I always hesitated to buy from their jp webstore due to handling+shipping+custom fee's... I was so happy to find it within Europe, so I immediately took the chance! :'D

It's super good quality, the fabric is simply awesome - feels a little like a softshell material, but much softer! The print is very fine and detailed, and the Zebra lining simply kicks asses. :'D

And to express my love for AV Gal...

♥Random bit's of life♥

Before I make my massive shopping haul post, I'd like to give short summary about the happenings of the last weeks - just to assure you that I'm not only sitting in front of the PC, chasing after clothes on mbok. lol

I got my copy of the final issue of the EGG magazine!

They really made an awesome last issue!
There's a special about egg models of the past years, and they also printed a timeline of all EGG covers! So interesting, I felt like taken back in time. Q__Q Nostalgia strikes!

Yun looks brilliant in all of her shootings, especially in the Bikini special of this issue! I'm gonna miss her funny snapshots with the other models. =/

I'm not gonna make this another post about magazines dying out, because I'm pretty sure we can also make it without printed media. Time to be a little more creative ourselves, I think of it as a challenge! =D

Recently my hair was showing big damage on the tips again, I guess it's because I went tanning quite a lot recently. =/ So it was time to pull out my secret weapon...

Shiseido Tsubaki hair oil!

I first tried it when I was in Taiwan - back then, the damp air destroyed my hairstyles IN NO TIME. I got more and more frustrated every day, it was a big problem! xD" I saw all those cute taiwanese girls on the streets, with their neatly layed flat hair waving softly in the wind - while I was looking like a broom, with my hair sticking out to all directions possible! 

I was very lucky that the staff of Cosmed could recommand a suitable product for my hair type (which was a challenge for the staff as well, not only because I am a foreigner but also my hair is chemically processed).

So after the next shower, I carefully massaged 5-8 drops of the oil into my hair - and OMG, it has never been softer and fluffier before, a miracle! :'D 

I spent the half day running my fingers through my hair, I swear. lol

I ordered this bottle from Japan now, for a quite high price of 15€... but by the little amount I need, it'll last for at least 6 month. 

I`m very happy with this product, and I can only recommand it to everybody that has problems with dry hair / untamable hair. =)

I also got into DIY Gel Nails the past weeks!

I never got my nails done since my Taiwan trip, and spending at least 40€ every 4 weeks seemed to be a bit too pricey anyways... But I really missed my shiny and firm nails, so I thought I might as well try it myself!

This was a quite cheap starter Set that I found online, and I even got another 15% discount on it! Obviously, I couldn't resist any longer. xD
 

My first try of Gel nails was a quite... interesting experience. ~lol I'm very thankful my BF helped me during the process, otherwise I would have given up easily. And the outcome wasn`t even that bad...

No close-up though... trust me, you don`t wanna see that. lol

It actually was pretty fun to do the nails in the end, so now I'm already thinking about which design to do next! There are so many inspiring photos and videos out there, it's a bit hard to decide!

Last but not least, I decorated our balcony with some nice flowers! 

The balcony is my little recreation spot within the appartement. ^^

I also got us a box with mixed herbs, I love to use them for daily cooking! Fresh herbs really improve the taste of the dishes a lot. x3

Oh, and I also got this beautiful hydrangea for my B-Day - it's so pretty! x3

I hope I can keep it healthy and beautiful for a long time! Still need to work on my green thumb. xD"

Well, so far about this side of my life. I'll be up with a little more Gal related post soon. ;D

スジ盛り ♥♥ Sujimori!!

Hey Gal's, long time no see. ;)

Today I'm gonna give a short explanation about the most Gyaru-ish hairstyle of all:  
SUJIMORI ♥

What is "Sujimori" / スジ盛り?

Sujimori is a special way of hairdo, that is very popular not only in Gal styles - it can also be seen in Visual Kei, Oshare Kei and many other japanese fashion styles.

Most important for Sujimori: VOLUME & DEFINED STRANDS.

Sujimori is probably one of the most detailed hairstyles EVER, so it takes lots of practise and time to perfect it. If you look at the following pictures, you will understand why. ;D

Different Variations - be creative!

Sujimori can come in different styles as well! There are countless cute updo's, hairsets with sexy braids, with short hair, straight hair... and the list goes on! Here are some examples:

Sujimori evolves too... MEGAMORI!!

While Volume is a MUST for Sujimori anyways, there are HUGE over-the-top hairstyles as well! They are still very famous for Kurogyaru and Goth Gyaru! Such big hairstyles often come in different haircolors, and adorned with little feathers or flowers ♥

"Black Diamond" Gyaru-sa made those "MEGAMORI" hairstyles really famous in the west!

How to Sujimori ♥

Japanese girls will most likely go to a hairsalon to get a hairset done by a professional. It's still something special to most of Gyaru, but there are certainly girls who get a Suji done every day (I am mostly talking about hostesses - having great hair is somewhat of their job requirements, i guess. lol).

Since westerners don't really have access to hairstylists beeing capable of Sujimori, we have no choice but to do the hairset on our own. lol

For obvious reasons, this is not the easiest job to do. Making a hair arrangement on your own head is quite hard already, so creating hundreds of perfect strands for Sujimori is really tough. It takes lots of practise, time, patience and motivation.

If you still wanna challenge Sujimori, here's what you'll probably need!

- Layered haircut (MOST IMPORTANT!!)

OR

- Wig with a layered cut

- Teasing comb

- Hairspray with strong hold

- Hairties & Bobby Pins for updo's or creating fake layers

- Curling Iron / Flattening Iron OR (hot) rollers

- Hair accessory if wanted

Obviously, I am not a master in Sujimori - so I don't even wanna start giving instructions or whatever. xD

But I wanna encourage you to watch some Sujimori Videos on youtube, they're really helpful! I'd show you my favorite ones! =)

Sujimori is probably the most GAL hairstyle of all, but it requires lots of practise and EVEN MORE patience. But obviously, it's totally worth it! Sujimori is an absolute EYECATCHER!!

I already failed countless times, giving good laughs to my BF because of looking like an exploded broom. ~lol
But I won't give up trying to perfect my Gal style, and hairstyling is a big MUST for me! So Suji is the way to go ♥
