Princess day out ♥

A while ago I got an invitation from lovely Shoi, she asked me out for a Lolita meetup! So we went there last Saturday, and it was GORGEOUS ♥

Shoi came over to my appartment, and we dolled up together. Even just getting dressed was so much fun with her, she's such a sweet girl! After we faced the wig disaster and the eyelash catastrophy (lol - I was so clumsy that day, and couldn't really help Shoi out with anything. So sorry girl, next time I'll take better care of you!), we finished the process in a record-breaking time of 1 1/2 hours, gosh! O__O I usually need almost twice that time!

Well, we were terribly late anyways, and almost missed the train. lol
Thanks to my friend (not allowed to mention his name, sorry. ;D) and his FURIOUS driving style, we still made it! x3

At the main station, we met up with all the other Lolitas - they were all so cute and nice! ;__; We never met before, but they were so kind and heartwarming - I felt so comfortable immediately! ♥ (I didn't get the permission for posting their photos here yet, so I'll only show photos of Shoi and me)

We went to the toy museum together, which was pretty small, but yet very interesting!

Barbies ancestors!
Those dolls were so lovely! *__*
Barbies face and appearance changed so much over the years, and look at the skintones! I never saw a pale Barbie before. O__O
My favorite is the elegant doll in the lowest row, 3rd counted starting from the right side ♥

TRANSFORMERS! D:
Haha, I'm such a freak for those films. xD
So I really loved this part of the museum a lot!

Teddy graveyard?! o__o"
Scary? Then you better skip the photo below this sentence...

D:
SCARY DOLL IS SCARY. >___<
Jigsaw (from "Saw" movie) doesn't exist, Jigsaw doesn't exist... >/////<

After we finished our tour at the museum, Shoi and me dragged the others to get some Bubble Tea! x3
It was my first real Bubble tea, I was so excited! O////O

Cute design cup!
I had green tea with Lychee and Coconut boba!
It was so GOOD! I´m addicted now ♥

In front of the Bubble Tea store
My wig is a bit messy, sorry. o__o" But Shoi looks so cute in her Milky-chan! :´D
The owner of that store was really cute and friendly! He's going to open a bigger store soon, good luck! Be sure I'll be one of your customers in the future, your bubble tea is gorgeous! ♥

It was kinda bad decision to get a cold Bubble Tea in the middle of November... I was freezing like hell after that. xD"
So I really appreciated that the others wanted to go to a cute Café to grab a bite!

Aaaah, some warm tea! :´D
Rooibos Strawberry Cream ♥

The Café was super cute! I'm a bit sad I didn't take any photos of the interior except of...

The restroom! xD"
But hey. That's EPIC, isn't it? x3
Those toilets are so Lolita ♥

Shoi also managed to take this super sweet photo of us at the restroom!
Ahhhw, thanks Honey! I'm always looking horrible on photos, but once you hold the camera, every photo does turn out well! :´D
As you can see, I was going for a Hime/Princess themed outfit. Shoi was pulling off the Sweet Lolita style so well! ♥

Outfit Shot, taken in front of a door with attached mirror at the Café
Derpy Pose. Sorry for that. <.<
Outfit Rundown:
OP: Angelic Pretty "Rose Toilette"
Blouse: Bodyline
Headpiece: Angelic Pretty "Lady Rose" (I attached a rose to it)
Socks: Angelic Pretty
Shoes: Secret Shop
Anything else: Offbrand

After we had a really nice chat at the Café, it got really dark outside. It was time to go home after all. =(
The other Lolitas and our single Dandy were so nice to guide us back to the main station - thank you so much, without you we would have gotten lost FOREVER! xD"
It was really sad to split up from this lovely group of people, the whole day went by so fast! I'm very thankful to all of you, you treated us so heartwarming and kind - I so wish we can meet again soon! Thanks for everything!

So we took the train back home...
...The sad shoe shot we took while sitting in the train. xD"
Next time I'll remember to take one when we're still a GROUP. xD"

As we arrived back at our town, we visited Shoi's workplace - a kinda department store - because she really wanted to show off and explain to her workmates what Lolita is.
The guys there were freakin' scared of my contact lenses, one of them even called me "Vampire". <.< Dude, seriously. That´s no way to treat a princess! xD
After taking a load of photos there, we called it a day and went home. =)

Last but not least ~ List of words we got called after:
Wedding party
Theatre group
Event group
Cinderella
Sailor Moon (?! I don't even... xD")
Cosplay
Carneval
Vampire
Outsider

Positive reaction: 35%
Negative reaction: 10%
Neutral reaction: 55%

Haha, it was a really fun day - and so relaxing after I was working hard all week long! x3

But no time for taking a break now, I just wanted to bring up this post before I forget about it completely. I'll be on a hiatus until end of this week, until the big school party we (the students council) are preparing has sucessfully ended! ;)
Plz bear with me until then! ;)

Be well and have a good time! =D

November is busy. x__X

Hey princesses and princes, hope you're all doing well! Getting ready for christmas already? ;)

School and life keeps me quite busy these days!

I've become member of the students council, which means some extra work from time to time... and since there'll be a big welcome party for the junior students on the last weekend of this month, work doubled for me. x__X
I'm responsible for the decoration, which means a lot of shopping, crafting, and hands full of sticky glue and glitter... looks quite fancy. I mean... the decoration AND my hands. xD"

My driving teacher keeps on pronouncing that I'm the most EPIC FAIL of driver PERIOD. Thanks Robert, you keep me motivated every day. xD"
To describe my style of driving... no wait. There's no word that can do my horrible driving style justice. I'm serious. And ashamed. xD"
I'm just so scared of EVERYTHING while driving. If there's a cyclist 30m ahead of me, I already start panicking. (cyclist = EVIL. Doesn't follow any international traffic rules NOR human self-conception.) I also HATE highways. Mostly because of the trucks everywhere, and my disability of passing them. (My last passing maneuver took 2 minutes - that's at least how I felt. And that stupid truck wasn't even that long! When i finally reached the driving cab of the truck, the driver was staring down into the car, laughing his ass off. So did my driving teacher, thanks Robert! xD")
If everything goes on like this, I might get my license 2013. That's why my driving teacher forced me to take at least 2 practical and 2 theoretical lessons per week. xD"
Well, keeps me quite busy and on a constantly low budget - but I think it's worth it.
2013... never ever. CHALLENGE ACCEPTED! xD

I also got invited to a lolita meetup this Saturday, which I'm so looking forward to! But on the other hand... it leaves me with the problem that pretty much every girl has in such a situation.
I GOT NOTHING TO WEAR! Dx
I mean... not really. There´s a fine selection of lolita wardrobe in my closet, but... I want something new, an new coordination of my lolita wardrobe!
Which leads me to the next problem. The last weeks when I had some time left, I was mostly focussing on improving my Gal style, so that I can hopefully call myself proudly "Gyaru" by the next year (I still don't feel good enough yet). Seems I really lost my feeling (or maybe even the ability) for coordinating a decent lolita outfit. ;__;
Nya. I guess I'll be browsing "Daily Lolita" tomorrow during my school breaks, since that's hardly the only off time I can get the next few days. xD" This community does never fail to give me inspiration. Wish me luck. ;)

Oh yes, November is busy for me right now. So please bear with me if I can't write any comments, blog entrys, messages and such.
I'll be back around 1 1/2 weeks later. ;)

I'll leave some recent photos here! ;)I ruined it with my fail photoshop skills. ;__;
I actually tried a tutorial "how to apply glow on your skin", since I wanted beautifuly glow-y photos like Sakurinas... but as you can see, it turned out horribly.
And stupid me saved the changes on the original file, dammit. ;__; My BF said he can fix it (he´s a webdesigner and very capable of photoshop), but that'll take some time. Once I get the result, I'll post the photo here, too! Good luck with your rescue mission, Binny! xD"

I was wearing...
...a total of 4 (!) prisila hairpieces! lol
I tried to arrange it in sujimori style a bit, but the wig hair lost the shape quickly. I need new hairspray that can hold wig fiber, too. =( (I heard got2be is really good?)
New D.I.A cardigan, offbrand hairbow and necklace, choker from Gothic Lolita Princess (I told you I started off as an ita. lol ~ I cut off the plastic lace, now it makes a decent rokku gal choker I think! x3)

Before I went out, I decided to switch from my cardigan to my new Yumetenbo blouse.
It has got a swallowtail! :´D
Sorry for my weird pose...

OVK boots, ruffle skorts and blouse by Yumetenbo.

Close up to scare the *** out of you before you leave.
Wow. Princess Mimi lenses look creepy from this angle. xD"
That glow still looks missplaced, but at least it's not as UBER-shiny as on the other photos. =/

Even though I could improve my make-up recently (especially the eye make-up), I still feel so imperfect. I fail in the most simple things like applying blush or nose stripe, since I don't apply that on a daily basis. Hmmm, still way to go until I can call myself "Gyaru" one day. ^^"
But I'll keep going! =D

P.S.: If any of you have some nice photoshop "skin glow" tutorials for me, plz let me know! ;)
Be well alltogether! =D

GOLDEN ERA RELOADED - Pompöös

"At the age of six in a difficult childhood, I said I want to make every woman a princess. That was an escape from reality."

Harald GlööcklerLink

There are just a few western fashion designers that can catch my interest - Harald Glööckler is one of them. I`ll give you a little introduction about this guy, if you want more information plz check his homepage here:
Harald Glööckler / Pompöös

Harald Glöckler (he got his name corrected to "Glööckler" later his life) was born on 30th May 1965 in Maulbronn, a small city in the south of Germany. He's had a difficult childhood, with his mother dying in an accident way too early - when he was just 13 years old. It´s rumored that his father was the cause for the deadly accident.

Harald Glöckler got fascinated with fashion at the young age of six years, when he visited an exhibition of Otto Dix. Ever since this day, he practised using needle and thread, different fabrics, and crafting accessorys.

Later his life, he became a salesman in fashion industry - and soon started to modify the pieces for sale to his own taste. With a basic knowledge about the mechanism of fashion industry and his unique taste, he started his career in fashion world with his label "POMPÖÖS"
(pompous) - unmistakable thanks to his golden crown icon.

Starting off as a store owner, he soon was working with the biggest german TV shopping channels - and so gained a lot fame within a short period of time.
Nowadays he's like a shopping channel idol, selling his collections
(that now include clothes, jewelry, tablewear and the like) internationally - also in Japan, where he became pretty popular! (Some photos of that at the end of this entry!)

Mr. Glööckler has especially taken the heart of 50+ ladies by storm. His collections are fashionable, but still modest - and the most important fact: He does produce clothes in wearable sizes. "Not every woman can wear a size 36/S or below."

I really like this guy, because he's just too freaking eccentrically! I get the "mad genius" vibe from him, somehow. (I also still do like Novala Takemoto... don´t hate on me... xD")
And hey... I'm so into princessy theme and leo-print recently - how can I resist? xD"

When it comes to the clothes, I can hardly find anything I would wear - "Pompöös" is just not targeted at younger people. But sometimes it's possible to find little treasures, that just need some altering. More about that at the end of this entry. ;D
BUT! The rest of the "POMPÖÖS" collection is definately worth a look! Princessy theme anywhere, spiced up with some nice animal prints!

Let's take a look!

LEO UMBRELLA
*__*
I hate rain in general, but with this baby... I won't mind going out. xD

PRINCESSY BEDSHEETS
That print remembers me of MA*RS, somehow! (It's too vibrant for Jesus Diamante, so I would rather say MA*RS... do you agree? o.O)

TIGER DISHESReally nice, but would be even better with some more bling bling I think! =)

COMPACT POWDER
Now THAT is glamour! *__*
The powder case even has got some gemstones on it!

GLAM NOTEBOOK
Leo print, leather, and bling bling... I so want one! >///<
And again, the crown label - show's up pretty much everywhere in "POMPÖÖS" collections. There's nothing more princessy then a crown. ♥

AND GOD SAID: LET THERE BE BLING.
The Glööckler himself. xD
And two of his designs - I especially love the corset of the dress on the right side, it looks so elegant!
And damn, I love his boots! *__* So rockish!

MY FAVORITE ♥
Gorgeous coordinate! *__*
It's so flattering to a curvy figure, and those colors are simply HOT!
I guess Mr. Glööckler was inspired by japanese traditional clothes... The make-up, hair and kind-of-obi-belt gives me a strong Kimono vibe!

Some photos of Mr. Glööckler in Japan...

AT THE SHOPPING CHANNEL
He was selling necklaces that day, if I got it right. xD

STREETSNAP TIME! xD
Hard to decide who's most fashionable. XD
My vote goes for Gyaruo on Mr. Glööcklers right side.

GAL TIME!The girl on the left side is so cuuuute! >///<

One more I would love to show you...
HARALD GLÖÖCKLER FOR PETA"Animals wear fur, People wear fashion."
Mr. Glööckler is standing against the use of fur - his creations feature high quality fake fur.
That photo... so... AWESOME. xD

BONUS:
My "POMPÖÖS" fake fur Poncho!
I bought it second hand for a ridiculous cheap price (I think the original price was at about 179€) - the leo look has taken my heart by storm, I couldn't help it. :´D
The fake fur has a quality I've never felt before on an imitation - it's super soft and so closely woven! Especially the cream colored parts of the Poncho are extremely well made!
A pity that I'll take it off... xD"

The Poncho is just too long for me, so I'll take the bottom row of cream fur off. I'll replace it with some black lace, I think. The collar has to go too, because I just don't like this shape of collar on me (it's a bit of peter pan collar style, no thanks. xD"). I have an old black fake fur stole that I'm planning to sew on. o.O

And with the leftover fur, Ill craft my Honey's christmas present! x3

Did you ever hear about this label, or maybe about the designer? I wonder how famous he actually is, since he got praised a lot recently. o.O
What do you think about his collection?

It´s such a sweet, sweet life, isn´t it?
