Today I started with Insanity Workout ♥
Crazy, it's really INTENSE. To be honest, I hardly pulled through. lol
Felt a little unsatisfied, so I did an extra session of Elliptical and Squats. =P

I did a thing...

...and I don't regret anything ♥

I've wanted a fringe for so long...
This year, I went to the hairdresser multiple times to get a fringe cut, but I always left the salon unsatisfied... the hairstylist was really sweet, but too chicken to cut off as much hair as I wanted...

Since I'm a diy person, I spontaniously grabbed the scissors today. 

Very happy with the outcome ♥

I feel fresh now ♥ Younger, more energetic ♥ And sexyyyy ♥
Even though I'm not wearing any make-up, and just a lazy shirt. lol

My hair looks long, but it's soooo broken at the tips... might still go get a haircut next week. =P

Say Goodbye... Say Hello?!

Many things have changed recently.

We (my husband and I) have moved to a bigger place, and we both LOVE it here. It's a bit far to go to work now, but living in our "little palace" is definately worth it! ;D

Now everybody is expecting us to have kids soon. lol 

It's quite annoying!

Such big changes in life always influence our personality, don't you think so?

For me, it did. I kinda lost track of what I loved the most... Gyaru.

Beeing so busy with life, Gal magazines vanishing, and the general decrease of Gyaru culture... maybe I simply forgot about Gyaru? However.

I started to loose track, and just found my way back.

Please, I don't wanna be mature yet, okay? I don't wanna have a child yet. (I do love kids and want to have at least 2, but not now... even though I'm getting old?)

I wanna enjoy Gyaru. Wanna travel around the world, wanna travel to Japan. Once in my life, I also wanna go to shop a fukubukuro at Shibuya 109. Let me stay like this a little longer...

I wish I can feel the same passion for Gyaru that I had 5 years ago... I've just browsed some old Blogs from Gals of "my" generation... We're have you all gone? Most of those blogs died out 2013. Pathetic me... I wish I could turn the time back... Can I find all of you back please?

I'm not depressed, just... nostalgic?

♥♥♥ Gyaru on a Budget ♥♥♥

Now finally onto a fashion related post! ;D

I've been invited to a wedding recently, it's gonna take part in August this year. Obviously, I have NOTHING TO WEAR. lol
Okay okay, I'll be honest... there's this dress I'm eyeing with for more then a year, and NOW I have a good reason to buy it. xD"

 Summery and flowy, elegant and not too sexy - perfect to attend a summer wedding, I think! x3

It's listed on the website "Dresslink.com", which is a Chinese Wholeseller.
As I usually have the opinion those stores can be quite a bit of a hit or miss, I've done some research first - it turned out that most of the Reviews are really good!
Once I've gotten my items, I'll do a review as well. ;D


While browsing the store, I've found many clothes that resemble japanese Gyaru brands a lot! And those items beeing sold at super cheap price!! How can I say no? :´D
I do certainly own quite a bit of brand, but I also won't mind a cheap deal. And some pieces of jp brand are just really hard to get - for example the famous flower prints of Datura. Q__Q They're sold out in no time, and hardly beeing put up for auction on mbok...

So let me show you what I've found! ;D


Datura style Rompers - 7,92€

The crisp colors and gradient white-to-flashy-pink definately remind me of Datura's recent styles!

I`m aware that I'm not showing the same kind of product, but in this case the overall concept is showing lot's of resemblance, I think.
Now I need to get a good tan on in order to pull off that romper. lol
Btw that Datura dress is a DREAM. No wonder it got sold out within minutes on their webstore... Q__Q I'll keep an eye out for it!


Datura style mini-dress - 6,49€

Once again, the color concept quite resembles Datura's recent styles. Also the body-hugging mini dress comes quite close to the original!

Even though the colors itself differ a little (Datura is generally using quite a bit of pink), there's quite some similarity - big flower print, print scheme, mini dress.
I especially like the cut of the skirt in the 1st photo. *__*


Duras style Jumpsuit - 6,90€

She must be a Gyaru model, I think I've definately seen her face before! So pretty ♥
This kind of Jumpsuit screams Onee Gyaru!

Classy Onee Gyaru brand Duras has done lot's of these styles in the past, mostly keeping a distinct color scheme of soft beige, light pink and black. The quite simple and rather flowy design show's lot of resemblance, I think!

Almost an exact copy to the Datura one!

Well, I don't really have to say much, do I? xD"
This could even be an exact replica.


Ghost of Harlem style Jumpsuit - 5,88€

Pretty simple and comfy design - but with the right accessory, it could definately look really rokku!


Ghost of Harlem is having similiar Jumpsuits every once and a while!

Well, I admit the resemblance is mostly because it's... a Jumpsuit. xD"
But also the print is similiar placed, and the back also features another fancy print.
Can't do much wrong with this one, whether being worn in a lazy way or with lot's of accessory to make it look really rokku!


As you can see, Gyaru on a Budget is definately possible!
You can save a lot of money, time and also frustration (haven't we all mourned about an lost auction on mbok already? xD") if you just keep an eye out and stay creative.

Melancholy~

Aaaaah, I feel like I'm getting old recently. lol
Looking at my past... I feel like I have so many things to look back to. Whyyyyy... when did life become so stuffed and complicated? xD"

I miss the carefree times, but it also somehow felt good to settle down recently. I'm starting to become a really good housewife and create a cozy little nest for me and my hubby. Nothing bad about it, right? =3

We finally got a dishwasher!!

FREEDOM.
I tell you. Best investment EVER! xD

Our kitchen is small, so we can only fit the chibi version of a dishwasher in there. xD"
I also sorted out lot's of kitchen machines that constantly got into my way, and got myself a ALL-IN-ONE kitchen machine...

NEW LOVE.

 It's called "Thermomix", and there's nothing it can't do. Smash, steam, boil, make ice cream...
If you talk nicely to it, it might even curl your hair and tell you compliments ♥ ...uhm yes. xD
(My sexist coworker called it "housewife playstation". ~.~)

Even though I enjoy settling down, my love for fashion and make-up has never been stronger. =)
I can't believe that I'm into Gyaru for 6 years already, can you?! 

I'm recently looking back to where I came from, and to be honest - I had a good laugh about it!

Laugh with me! ;D

 Back then I thought my look was THE SHIT. xD
I remember how proud I was to wear my first pair of plain black 14,2mm circle lenses and that unstyled Cyperous wig from Japan. lol

But I'm very happy that I kept going on from that point. Practise makes perfect, right?
I didn't reach perfection yet, but that's okay - I'll be on my way. =)

I also came to remember my Western Gal Idols from my beginner Gal times... do some of you know the names Pin, Riv Riv, Monica Tang, Viivi and Zhi Zhi? Oh god, how I loved their style (though I'm sure they're all still gorgeous nowadays) - they've been a great inspo and motivation, so I guess I owe them a lot... thank you from my heart ♥

 

Beeing stuck in my memories, I also started collecting "old" Ma*rs items, that were super trendy when I started Gyaru. I managed to get my hands on these babies recently ♥

The furry one is a bit tacky... but I feel like that's exactly what I WANT atm! =P
Aaaah, I miss the times when Ma*rs still did those over-the-top designs... nowadays it's only flashy prints or toned down x golden buttons... =/

 

Also, after lusting over this for 3 months, I got myself a Coastal Scents make-up Set!!

 Brush Set, Lip Color Palette, and Eyeshadow Palette - WORTH EVERY CENT!! I've never had higher pigmented cosmetics, I'm super satisfied! I will definately buy from them again! =)

I feel like my make-up already improved because of it! Oh, and I also think I stepped up my Gel-nail game! =P

Definately not perfect, but I'm on the way. =)

I love to do experiments and try new techniques, so I actually already removed these - I wanna do new nails tomorrow!

Update! ;D ♥ International Gyaru Lovers Winter Meetup ♥ Amihamu LOVE

Hey Gals,

I'm gonna make a short entry today... have to go to bed soon, work starts at 6 a.m. tomorrow! ;D

I got my ticket for the International Gyaru Lovers Winter Meetup in January!! SO HAPPY!!

Now I'm searching for a nice Hotel in Frankfurt, close to the Main-Station... but I heard there's the biggest red-light district of the city! O__O

Most of you will possibly think: "So what's the problem with that?" ... Argh, I wish I could be that cool! xD" I'm coming from a tiny village, so things like red-light districts scare me a lot! I just don't know what to expect from this! xD"

Anyways, hope to overcome my fear. lol

I'm gonna travel to Frankfurt by highspeed-rail. I hope to arrive quite early on Friday, so me and Hubby can go on a big shopping spree!! Frankfurt has so many stores that are unavailable in my area (OMFG PRIMARK!! TAKE ALL MY MONEYYYYY!! xD), so I gotta make a big use of that trip! xD

I'm very looking forward to meet lot's of awesome Gal's and Gyaru-o, also some of my Gaijin Gal Idols ♥

(MAGGIEEEE, SIMONA, ZUKA, KITAI, ...(the list goes on here... xD)... I'M WAITING...... ♥♥♥)

 I wanna try new things with my Make-up and Hair recently...

I'd really like to level up my Sujimori skills!! I actually practised a lot, but in the end I always failed... I think it's because of my curling irons - I just don't have the right barrel to create nice waves! Also, most of Sujimori tutorials I've watched so far are working with... HOT ROLLERS! :'D

So I've got myself a box of used Remington Ionic Rollers. ;D

Can't wait to try them out ♥

Also, I found Amihamu's Instagram recently... SO INSPIRING!! She really motivates me to push myself further in order to improve!

I also just got myself a pair of red lenses, haha. xD

It's interesting how this dress seems to be so long in the front, but barely covers my butt in the back. lol *forever fat ass*

I also tried a different eye-make... I came to like it a lot! I just wish my lenses weren't so basic... =/ It's the only pair I have atm, black ring lens. Q__Q

I wanted to try this hairstyle for soooo long! It's actually rather easy to do, and it gives a cool sidecut effect!
BUT: Taking out the rubber bands was a pain in the ass. :'D My hubby had to help me cut them out, and I almost fainted because I feared he's cutting my hair! xD"

Btw. I really hate my nose... I even debated with myself over a nose surgery. lol I got some good advice, so I'm gonna try finding some suitable nose-make-up tutorials, maybe I can "visually" shrink it... somehow? xD"
