I did a thing...

...and I don't regret anything ♥

I've wanted a fringe for so long...
This year, I went to the hairdresser multiple times to get a fringe cut, but I always left the salon unsatisfied... the hairstylist was really sweet, but too chicken to cut off as much hair as I wanted...

Since I'm a diy person, I spontaniously grabbed the scissors today.

Very happy with the outcome ♥
I feel fresh now ♥ Younger, more energetic ♥ And sexyyyy ♥
Even though I'm not wearing any make-up, and just a lazy shirt. lol
Pardon, pardon... ;)

My hair looks long, but it's soooo broken at the tips... might still go get a haircut next week. =P

Melancholy~

Aaaaah, I feel like I'm getting old recently. lol
Looking at my past... I feel like I have so many things to look back to. Whyyyyy... when did life become so stuffed and complicated? xD"

I miss the carefree times, but it also somehow felt good to settle down recently. I'm starting to become a really good housewife and create a cozy little nest for me and my hubby. Nothing bad about it, right? =3

We finally got a dishwasher!!
FREEDOM.
I tell you. Best investment EVER! xD

Our kitchen is small, so we can only fit the chibi version of a dishwasher in there. xD"
I also sorted out lot's of kitchen machines that constantly got into my way, and got myself a ALL-IN-ONE kitchen machine...

NEW LOVE.
It's called "Thermomix", and there's nothing it can't do. Smash, steam, boil, make ice cream...
If you talk nicely to it, it might even curl your hair and tell you compliments ♥ ...uhm yes. xD
(My sexist coworker called it "housewife playstation". ~.~)

Hello?
Did you fall asleep already? Haha, you probably did. xD
Enough of that boring stuff!

Even though I enjoy settling down, my love for fashion and make-up has never been stronger. =)
I can't believe that I'm into Gyaru for 6 years already, can you?!

I'm recently looking back to where I came from, and to be honest - I had a good laugh about it!

Laugh with me! ;D
Back then I thought my look was THE SHIT. xD
I remember how proud I was to wear my first pair of plain black 14,2mm circle lenses and that unstyled Cyperous wig from Japan. lol

But I'm very happy that I kept going on from that point. Practise makes perfect, right?
I didn't reach perfection yet, but that's okay - I'll be on my way. =)

I also came to remember my Western Gal Idols from my beginner Gal times... do some of you know the names Pin, Riv Riv, Monica Tang, Viivi and Zhi Zhi? Oh god, how I loved their style (though I'm sure they're all still gorgeous nowadays) - they've been a great inspo and motivation, so I guess I owe them a lot... thank you from my heart ♥

Beeing stuck in my memories, I also started collecting "old" Ma*rs items, that were super trendy when I started Gyaru. I managed to get my hands on these babies recently ♥
Lovely ♥
The furry one is a bit tacky... but I feel like that's exactly what I WANT atm! =P
Aaaah, I miss the times when Ma*rs still did those over-the-top designs... nowadays it's only flashy prints or toned down x golden buttons... =/

Also, after lusting over this for 3 months, I got myself a Coastal Scents make-up Set!!
Brush Set, Lip Color Palette, and Eyeshadow Palette - WORTH EVERY CENT!! I've never had higher pigmented cosmetics, I'm super satisfied! I will definately buy from them again! =)

I feel like my make-up already improved because of it! Oh, and I also think I stepped up my Gel-nail game! =P
Definately not perfect, but I'm on the way. =)
From the "design", this is my favorite so far! =)
I love to do experiments and try new techniques, so I actually already removed these - I wanna do new nails tomorrow!
I wonder if I should go for

Kuronba style Zebra & silver glitter & pink
or

Mature style Nude & navy

Hmmm... we'll see... ;D

I also did some experiments with my style recently...

Dug out my black wig. lol
Hmmm, this actually make's me wanna get my bangs cut...
Nah, forget what I said. I'm too chicken to do that anyways. lol

Dark Coord
Spiderweb Shirt: Ghost of Harlem
Tank Top & Skirt: Glavil
Rest: Offbrand

Super basic Coord
 Everything Offbrand
One of my favorite and most comfy looks recently ♥

Gyaru Lovers Winter Meetup Coord
(Had to cancel last minute because of personal reasons)
Jacket: Ed Haardy
Top: H&M
Skirt: Selfmade
Belt: d.i.a
Rest: Offbrand
Yes. I reached another level. I became so picky about my clothes that I even prefer to sew my skirt on my own. lol (True story. None of my skirts satisfied me, so I altered an old dress)

With my d.i.a jacket, the look is completed ♥
This is how I would like to see myself all the time. ♥ Happy Wish ♥

I hope I can improve my style a lot more in the future, there's still plenty of way to the top! ;D

Today, I cleaned up my closet... so now I have 1.945.573 Outfit ideas, haha!

My Gyaru closet ♥
This makes me so happy. ♥
Cought myself sitting in front of the closet and staring at my treasures for 30 minutes ♥

On the other hand...

I feel like a fu***ng brandwhore, and somehow have to question my spending habits... is this really okay? ^^"

Nyah, most of the tags were from my Fukubukuro anyways... ^^" *trying to console myself. xD"*

TEASER:
Next up: What was in my d.i.a & Glavil Fukubukuro? ;D
See you soon!

GOLDEN ERA RELOADED - Pompöös

"At the age of six in a difficult childhood, I said I want to make every woman a princess. That was an escape from reality."

Harald GlööcklerLink

There are just a few western fashion designers that can catch my interest - Harald Glööckler is one of them. I`ll give you a little introduction about this guy, if you want more information plz check his homepage here:
Harald Glööckler / Pompöös

Harald Glöckler (he got his name corrected to "Glööckler" later his life) was born on 30th May 1965 in Maulbronn, a small city in the south of Germany. He's had a difficult childhood, with his mother dying in an accident way too early - when he was just 13 years old. It´s rumored that his father was the cause for the deadly accident.

Harald Glöckler got fascinated with fashion at the young age of six years, when he visited an exhibition of Otto Dix. Ever since this day, he practised using needle and thread, different fabrics, and crafting accessorys.

Later his life, he became a salesman in fashion industry - and soon started to modify the pieces for sale to his own taste. With a basic knowledge about the mechanism of fashion industry and his unique taste, he started his career in fashion world with his label "POMPÖÖS"
(pompous) - unmistakable thanks to his golden crown icon.

Starting off as a store owner, he soon was working with the biggest german TV shopping channels - and so gained a lot fame within a short period of time.
Nowadays he's like a shopping channel idol, selling his collections
(that now include clothes, jewelry, tablewear and the like) internationally - also in Japan, where he became pretty popular! (Some photos of that at the end of this entry!)

Mr. Glööckler has especially taken the heart of 50+ ladies by storm. His collections are fashionable, but still modest - and the most important fact: He does produce clothes in wearable sizes. "Not every woman can wear a size 36/S or below."

I really like this guy, because he's just too freaking eccentrically! I get the "mad genius" vibe from him, somehow. (I also still do like Novala Takemoto... don´t hate on me... xD")
And hey... I'm so into princessy theme and leo-print recently - how can I resist? xD"

When it comes to the clothes, I can hardly find anything I would wear - "Pompöös" is just not targeted at younger people. But sometimes it's possible to find little treasures, that just need some altering. More about that at the end of this entry. ;D
BUT! The rest of the "POMPÖÖS" collection is definately worth a look! Princessy theme anywhere, spiced up with some nice animal prints!

Let's take a look!

LEO UMBRELLA
*__*
I hate rain in general, but with this baby... I won't mind going out. xD

PRINCESSY BEDSHEETS
That print remembers me of MA*RS, somehow! (It's too vibrant for Jesus Diamante, so I would rather say MA*RS... do you agree? o.O)

TIGER DISHESReally nice, but would be even better with some more bling bling I think! =)

COMPACT POWDER
Now THAT is glamour! *__*
The powder case even has got some gemstones on it!

GLAM NOTEBOOK
Leo print, leather, and bling bling... I so want one! >///<
And again, the crown label - show's up pretty much everywhere in "POMPÖÖS" collections. There's nothing more princessy then a crown. ♥

AND GOD SAID: LET THERE BE BLING.
The Glööckler himself. xD
And two of his designs - I especially love the corset of the dress on the right side, it looks so elegant!
And damn, I love his boots! *__* So rockish!

MY FAVORITE ♥
Gorgeous coordinate! *__*
It's so flattering to a curvy figure, and those colors are simply HOT!
I guess Mr. Glööckler was inspired by japanese traditional clothes... The make-up, hair and kind-of-obi-belt gives me a strong Kimono vibe!

Some photos of Mr. Glööckler in Japan...

AT THE SHOPPING CHANNEL
He was selling necklaces that day, if I got it right. xD

STREETSNAP TIME! xD
Hard to decide who's most fashionable. XD
My vote goes for Gyaruo on Mr. Glööcklers right side.

GAL TIME!The girl on the left side is so cuuuute! >///<

One more I would love to show you...
HARALD GLÖÖCKLER FOR PETA"Animals wear fur, People wear fashion."
Mr. Glööckler is standing against the use of fur - his creations feature high quality fake fur.
That photo... so... AWESOME. xD

BONUS:
My "POMPÖÖS" fake fur Poncho!
I bought it second hand for a ridiculous cheap price (I think the original price was at about 179€) - the leo look has taken my heart by storm, I couldn't help it. :´D
The fake fur has a quality I've never felt before on an imitation - it's super soft and so closely woven! Especially the cream colored parts of the Poncho are extremely well made!
A pity that I'll take it off... xD"

The Poncho is just too long for me, so I'll take the bottom row of cream fur off. I'll replace it with some black lace, I think. The collar has to go too, because I just don't like this shape of collar on me (it's a bit of peter pan collar style, no thanks. xD"). I have an old black fake fur stole that I'm planning to sew on. o.O

And with the leftover fur, Ill craft my Honey's christmas present! x3

Did you ever hear about this label, or maybe about the designer? I wonder how famous he actually is, since he got praised a lot recently. o.O
What do you think about his collection?

It´s such a sweet, sweet life, isn´t it?

Trip to Herren-Chiemsee! ♥

So, Germany is pretty famous for having wonderful castles - especially "Neuschwanstein" is a very famous sight, and typical tourist hot-spot. =)
But did you know that the king that build this castle, King Ludwig of Bavaria, also built a lot of other wonderful castles? One of them is build on a very small island in the middle of a big lake - Castle Herrenchiemsee.

It´s very close to my town, and my absolute favorite place around here!
I just recently went there on a trip with my BF, and I took some photos! If you see this amazing building, you will understand my love for that castle ♥

*Sorry, no photos of me that day. I was looking horrible since I had to hurry in the bathroom. lol I just try to protect your eyes! xD

Binny (my BF) and me decided to leave in the early morning already, since we wanted to spend as much time on the island as possible.
But... I wasted too much time in the bathroom (...and yet failed styling myself to look at least properly. <.<), so we missed our train and had to wait one hour for the next one! xD"

Pissed off Binny is pissed off.
Haha, actually he wasn´t really angry - he just tried to cheer me up with pulling faces, as he always does. xD"

As we arrived at the harbour, we took a little ferry to reach the island. There were so many sailing boats on the lake back then! =DI really love the landscape at Chiemsee ♥

As soon as we entered the ferry, Binny had to grab a bite of the sandwiches we prepared that morning.
He can eat so much, but yet doesn´t gain any weight! I`m so freaking jealous! xD

When we arrived at the Herren-Chiemsee island, we had to walk for about 15 minutes until we reached the castle that is in the center of the area. They´ve got so many beautiful fountains in the park! This is the one of the highest ones:
About 12m high! It´s so beautiful, the theme is an old legend.
King Ludwig of Bavaria has had an amazing personality and fantasy! He was a big supporter of theatres, and he was in love with old fairytales and legends. And he tried to make his life a fairytale, too. That´s why he´s sometimes called "The Moon King" or "The fairytale King".

The big castle!
You might recognize it´s looking like castle Versaille in France? Yes, it is actually a Replica! xD"
King Ludwig was a big admirer of King Louis XIV, he build this palace to show his fascination for the great french king.

Of course we also went to a big tour inside the castle, but taking photos there was prohibited, sorry. =(
But just to let you know, it was GORGEOUS! So many details, so much gold, glass chandeliers, a lots of expensive clocks (King Ludwig was collecting them), a bathtub with the size of a small pool, and a whole bedroom dedicated to King Louis XIV (but he actually never slept there).

After we finished the tour, we went outside for taking some more photos!

Here´s another very beautiful fountain!
And Binny beeing AWESOME again. lol

This fountain is telling the legend of a goddess. She was once dressed as a poor woman, walking along the fields where a lot of farmers were working. She was very thirsty, so she asked the farmers for some water - but they refused. So the goddess got very angry at this merciless behaviour, so she used her magic to turn the farmers into frogs.
There should be water floating down the fountain, but they turn it on and off in a 20 minutes rythm - sorry, we just caught the off mode when we took the photo. =(

We strived around the area, and found a big park area with lot´s of deers! I met my big love! :´D Sorry Binny... xD"
This is the most cutest deer I´ve ever seen! He wasn´t shy at all, we could even feed him with some toast and grass! Such a cute little thing!
We decided to call him "Schmogger". :´D

But then...
D:
I got refused. I wanted to give a chu, but Schmogger refused me! My heart is broken... still now. ;__;

We also visited some other great sights on the island! One of them is an old abbey, that has got some special rooms like a biiiig art gallery, some gorgeous fresco, 2 rooms that King Ludwig used as his little residence, and a room where the german code of law was written!
It´s not as beautiful as the castle, but still... so idyllic! And I absolutely LOVED the paintings in the art gallery!

It was getting late and cloudy, but we still had some time left... so we went on a stroll around the island.

Along the coast side, I was able to take this beautiful photo!
I LOVE the lightbeams!
This photo means a lot to me, I´m usually not a good photographer, you know. xD"

So that was our trip to the island, we stayed for about 9 hours in the end! It was really lovely, and I´ll go back there soon! There´s going to be a lolita meetup at the castle soon, I`m so looking forward to it! =D

Last but not least...
Photo of Binny and me.
Oh well, I`m not really wearing make-up here, nor am I dressed or styled properly. xD"
That photo was taken after working at the hospital, and the rules there are pretty strict, as you know. xD" The thing on my forehead is a tiny scar from when I had varicella as a child - it´s usually not showing that much. XD"
I hope you´re not too shocked, but I like this photo of Honey and me a lot - it´s easy to see how happy I am with this boy. He makes me feel so comfortable every second, and he does treat me like a real princess 24/7. I`m such a lucky girl! :´D

Does somebody share my love for castles, or did you ever visit a castle in Germany? =3

It´s such a sweet, sweet life, isn´t it?

Jenny goes Gal ♥

She´s like the japanese form of Barbie! =D

The "Takara Barbie" was first produced in 1982 by the japanese toy manufacturer Takara. They had an agreement license with Mattel, the famous manufacturer of the western doll "Barbie". The japanese Barbie was altered to suit the taste of the japanese customers: She´s shorter and more slender then the western "Barbie", her eyes are drawn in Manga style, her mouth is closed, the face is rounder, and the body does not have a lot of curves.
The "Takara Barbie" was selling rather worse, since there were other famous dolls, for example "Licca". The license agreement with Mattel came to an end, and the doll´s name has been changed to "Jenny". Jenny went through a lot of style changes, and became more and more popular with young girls.
If you wanna see the evolution of Jenny, you can check it out here! ;D

The Jenny doll is famous for always following the latest fashion trends, so right now the dolls of the series are pulling off Gyaru!! :´D

It´s so gorgeous, and really makes me wanna buy a doll again. >///< Dammit, that´s so childish! But they´re all so pretty! :´D

Come take a look with me! x3

JENNY ~ GYARU
Pulling off Gal style so well! ~ The coords give me somekind of "Popteen" magazine feeling. *__*
(Even though the Lolita in me is screaming: Scratchy laaaace! D: ~ lol, can´t help it)
I wish I had that "DIVA" shirt! xD

And Jenny´s friends are uber stylish, too! Nagosa! xD

MIRAI ~ KOGYARU
Such a wonderful idea, and so many sweet coords!
I really love this one, since I´ve always been a fan of Kogyaru style in general - but I wish they would have also released a sportswear outfit for her (even though all those seifuku rock!) >///<

JESSICA - AGEJO
D:
MUST HAVE.
This is perfection. I NEVER even imagined I can be this childish again, but really so want a Jessica doll (preferably in the 1st or 5th outfit) now! xD
The 5th outfit does look like MA*RS style, don´t you think so? ~ Haha, look how perfectly they´re all posing - like in Ageha! :´D

AYANO - HIMEKAJI
My second favorite - haha, so obvious why. xD"
The 5th outfit does even remind me of Lolita - the skirt just needs some more length! x3
I`m totally into her hairbow and wavy locks!
Oh, and I wish I had her room. xD

SHION - ONEEGYARU
Or maybe even Retro Girly? I couldn´t decide, but her main outfit screamed "ONEE" to me. o.O"
I like how her face structure does fit her overall look, and I`m totally in love with her 4th outfit! x3

AND NOW FOR THE MOST GORGEOUS DETAIL!

Ta-ta-ta-dummmm!

Fake lashes galore! xD
So freakin cool! xD
As far as I understand it right, you will get this decoration Set with every purchase of a Gal series doll.
It does include some glitter "eyeliner", lashes, and glitter stickers to decorate the face of the dolly.
That´s so gal ~ I`m ashamed.
She´s pulling off the style far better then me! lol

What do you think about those dolls? What´s your favorite?

It´s such a sweet, sweet life, isn´t it?
