♥ Agejo/Hime-up your home! ♥

Have you ever heard about the brand "Little Diva"?
It's an european brand (from the netherlands) that does create a wide range of "home"-related items such as bedsheets, dishes, soap dispensers, towels, stationary... and they all perfectly match the Agejo and Hime theme! ♥

The main colors consist gold, hot pink, baby pink, black and denim blue, while the patterns feature a lot of leopard print, denim print, roses print and padding print.
The price range of "Little Diva" is in the medium category, but definately worth the price! I have two coffee mugs from them, and their print does even survive the dishwasher! (Most printed dishes tend to blur from beeing put into the dishwasher too often)

Enough of the bla, let's take a look at the gorgeous items by "Little Diva"! ;D

LD Pillow

Embroidered sleeping Mask

Cute decorated bath bomb
(screw lush, this one comes decorated with a bracelet! xD)

Golden teapot
A little funny how you can see the photographers reflection on the teapot. xD

Coffee mug
I got this one + a leopard patterned one. My favorite cup. ♥

Leopard heart dish
"Be cute and sexy" ♥

Fancy soap dispenser
I so need this! >///<

Now you might wonder where to buy? =D

If you are coming from Germany, you can buy the "Little Diva" collection at some Douglas stores! Or just simply check out their german webstore here! (Unfortunately a lot of items are sold out on the webstore. =/)

If you're from outside Germany, you can check ldbylittlediva.com, where you will be lead to a few different online stores to buy from the "Little Diva" collection. (Just click on the items you would like to purchase, and check the shop links that will be listed beside the items image)

I absolutely ADORE LD's items, especially the leo-printed ones! >///<
My home still lacks some princessy/agejo decoration, so as soon as I have some money left I will blow it on LD for sure! Ò__O/

Thelma Madine - makes your poofy dreams come true ♥

Yesterday, I saw a little TV report about a very special wedding dress designer on TV. Her designs took my heart within a second. ♥

The name of the designer is Thelma Madine, and she got mostly famous through the TV series "My big fat gypsy wedding", which unfortunately is not aired on german TV. =/
She just recently came up with her biography!

Left side: Thelma Madine
Right side
: Happy bride ♥

I just found out about her yesterday, so I could only collect a little information about her ever since. =/

Mrs. Thelma Madine started professional sewing soon after her marriage broke down, about 16 years ago from now. She was designing simple christening dresses which she sold on small markets in Liverpool.

When business started to pay off, she was sentenced to stay in prison for one year, since she owed the government benefits of £10,700 (ca. 12.500€).
She was released after 4 month though, saying that this experience shaped her personality a lot. She began to feel for the travellers, that do often get misjudged by society.

Thelma Madine got back into business of sewing dresses for (mostly gypsy) kids, and gained more and more popularity. Her unique designs were evolving a lot, so it was only a matter of time when she was asked to design a wedding gown and 18 (!) bridesmaid dresses for a big gypsy wedding.

More and more work started to come in, and after all those years she gained the international popularity she has now. Her dresses are rated in upper price category, somewhere between £15.000 and £50.000 (ca. 17.600€ ~ 58.800€) - the real prices were never revealed, though. ;)

What makes her dresses unique: The ridiculous amount of poof (which I just LOVE! *__* Maybe I've been into Lolita for too long. xD), the bling bling, and the sexy yet princessy shape of the dresses.

See yourself, otherwise you won't believe it. :´D

The artist at work ♥
Mrs. Thelma Madine on the very left side!
And the bride lost in poof ♥ I so love the glitter on her bustier and her giant tiara, she looks like a dream princess ♥

Breathtaking snapshot of the backside of a dress
This... is... perfection. ♥
I've never seen such a beautiful detail like this. ;////;

White dream ♥I prefer a more cupcake-shape of the bottom, but still... this is so wonderful! :´D

Thelma Madine does design bridesmaid-gowns, too! ♥
Share some BIG love for poof. :´D

Very inspiring snap from a photoshooting
I love this photo! *__*
It gives me the "Enchanted" feeling, like a disney princess that slipped through the gates of fiction and reality. :´D

Not sooo much related...
...but I want such a carriage for my wedding, too. ;////; And a dress by Mrs. Thelma Madine, to fill out the space in it, just like the models dress above! xD

What do you think about those wedding gowns? A little too much, maybe? ;)

♥♥♥Happy Valentines Day♥♥♥

I currently don't have the time to do a proper entry, but I still wanted to stop by to wish you all a
lovely Valentines Day!

Hope you're all spending a gorgeous day with your beloved ones (may it be BF, friends or family - I believe a "Valentine" can be anybody! ^^), have a wonderful time!

"Valentines Card" I made for my Honey
It's actually a photo of the selfmade chocolate candy I made for him. o///o
He kindly asked for strawberry and vanilla taste this year, so of course I made his sweet wish come true! ^///^

Happy Valentines Day! =D

♥Macaron recipe - comfort your darling on valentines day! ;D♥

Valentines day is coming soon (14th February), so you might want to prepare something special for your darling - sweets are usually the most preferred gift on this day, so why not loli-fy that a little and present some tasty MACARONS? ;D

I'll give you my favorite recipe - everytime I used this, the Macarons turned out to be FABULOUS. You just have to strictly follow the measurements. ;D

Have fun baking! ♥
Disclaimer (lol) - I didn't manage to take new photos while baking, I'll just repost old ones. Sorry that. =/

Tools that you will need:
Mixer
Powder sieve
Kitchen scale
2 baking bowls
1 cup
piping bag
2 baking trays covered with baking paper

Ingredients (dough):
They might sound very weird, but plz be aware that you need to follow those measurements as accurately as you can - a difference of only 3g might cause a different outcome!
47g Almond powder
90g Powdered sugar
37g Eggwhite
10g Sugar
Liquid food colouring (color of your choice. =D)

Igredients (filling):
You can fill the Macarons with pretty much everything you like - jam, chocolate, cream... I've chosen a lavender butter cream for this recipe, since it's my favorite ♥ (tastes so "lolita" xD)
180g~200g of soft Butter (just keep it outside of the fridge for some hours, it'll be soft in no time)
1 Big spoon of milk
8 Big spoons of powdered sugar
12 drops of lavender oil
2 Big spoons of dried lavender blossoms
Liquid food colouring (color if your choice!)

Oven:
140°C on hot air function

Let's get started! =D

1.) Get yourself the kitchen scale, and put a bowl on top of it - grab the sieve and start to powder the almonds, until the outcoming powder is as smooth as possible. Be sure to have exactly 47g in the end! ;D Repeat the same step with the powdered sugar! (Why you have to do this: To create the perfect macarons, all of the ingredients have to bee as fine and smooth as possible!)

2.) Now leave the powdered stuff aside, and grab yourself the second bowl and put it on the scale - throw 37g of Eggwhite in it. (That's kinda tricky and might take a while!) After that, you should prepare the 10 grams of sugar - just simply use the cup and the scale, you should be aware of that technique by now, I guess. xD
After you've prepared those two things, you can start to mix up the Eggwhite, using your mixer. As soon as it does became fluffier and white, add the 10g of sugar into it, and stir it until everything is stiff.
If you're brave, you can do the ultimate test to check if the eggwhite is stiff enough - lift the bowl over your hard and turn it around. If nothing falls out and on top of your head, the eggwhite has the perfect consistance. xD (okay okay, you can skip the head thingy... xD)

3.) So now you should have 2 bowls in front of you. One of them has the powdered almonds and sugar, the other one has the stiff eggwhite.
Add 2 big spoons of the powdered stuff to the eggwhite, and carefully mix it up. Continue this step until you mixed up everything!

4.) Now it's time to make it colorful ♥
Take the liquid food coloring of your choice, and add as less as you can, but as much as you need to get a decent colored dough. Plz be aware of the fact that the colors tend to get a tad darker while baking. =)

5.) VERY IMPORTANT - check the consistance of the dough. Take a big spoon, and put some dough on it. Let it slowly drop down into the bowl again.
The perfect dough will run down stringy, like a ribbon.
If the dough is too sticky/thick: Add some more drops of food coloring or a little eggwhite (talking about a few grams, 7~10g)
If the dough is too thin: Add a little powdered sugar
Correct the dough if needed, before you move on to step 6. =)

6.) Prepare two baking trays with baking paper, and get your piping bag ready. Fill the dough into it, and start to squirt drops of it on the paper - I like my macarons to be rather small, with a diameter of ~3cm. Feel free to make yours bigger, but be aware of the fact that the might need a little more time to bake. =)
Also: The Macaron-drops tend to run out in the first minutes, so be sure to leave some space between them! =)

My baking tray...

7.) The Macarons have to dry for 30 minutes now - plz do not try to shorten this period. It is a very important step, that will cause your Macarons to have a very even and cute "cap" in the end. ;)
Now it's time to heat the oven on 140°C on hot air function!
Things you can do while waiting...
- Write a loveletter for your darling
- Design a Lolita/Gyaru Valentine ;D
- Read the latest EGG magazine (oh how I crave for spring fashion! ~////~)

8.) After you've waited patiently, it's now time to bake your macarons for 12-14 minutes! =D (Depending on the condition of your oven - mine is rather old, unfortunately. =/)
You will see how the Macarons slowly grow taller, while the "cap" stays shiny and even. ^^

9.) Take the baking tray out of the oven, and grab the baking paper (with the macarons glued on top of it) - place it on a cold, even surface (for example the kitchen table). This will make it easier for you to seperate the Macarons from the paper afterwards. =)

Aren't they lovely ♥

While the Macarons cool down, you can prepare the filling! =D
You can fill them with pretty much everything you like, I'll additionally give you the recipe of my lavender cream! ^^

Filling step 1) For my lavender cream, I mix up 1 big spoon of milk with some purple food colouring.

Filling step 2) Mix up 200g of soft butter with 8 big spoons of powdered sugar, and slowly add the colored milk. If the color is not intense enough, it's now time to correct it. ;)

Filling step 3) Add the lavender oil and dried blossoms to finish it off. Check the taste and adjust it to your liking. I prefer a strong lavender taste over a too sweet taste

Back to the Macarons itself! ♥

10.) As for now, the Macarons should have cooled down! Do carefully seperate them from the baking paper.
Now you should sort the Macarons - put two caps with the same size together. ^^

11.) Fill the Macarons with whatever you like, and stick them together! If you were making a creamy filling like my lavender cream, you might want to use the piping bag again! ;D

And you're all finished ♥
Wrap it up in some sweet, decorative paper or a box, and give your Honey a sweet surprise! ♥
♥HAPPY VALENTINES DAY♥

If you use my recipe, I would so love to see photos of your Macarons! x3
Plz also feel free to ask me questions, or give me concrit if there's something weird about my recipe! I'm always looking to improve! =D

A short update! ♥

Hey sweethearts! Yes, I am still alive! ;D

The past weeks, I had to focuss on studying a lot - and the hard work paid off! :´D

My midwife exam!
Haha, plz excuse my crappy handwriting! The exam contained 5 pages full of questions to answer within 45 minutes, so I had to hurry a lot. xD"
In Germany, we have the grades 1 to 6 to rate the sucess in an exam. 1 is the best grade, the list goes down until 6, which is the worst grade.
Sooo... YES, I ROCKED IT! *___* *high five myself* xD
I wrote 5 other exams the past weeks, and they all went really well! No grade below 2, yessss! :´D

I admit that I neglected my driving school for the sake of my grades... angry driving teacher is angry, gotta work hard on my license the next weeks to calm him down. lol

I've been asked why I'm not doing any "recent buys" postings anymore, or if I lost interest in Gyaru. I'm flattered that there are some people even caring about that, thank you so much! ;__;
And to answer that: I still love Gyaru style a lot! ♥

I just don't have a lot of money to spend on clothes at the moment, since driving school costs me up to 200€ every month. xD"

This question made me think about myself a lot, though.
How can I say "I quit Gyaru" if I've never been one... I probably stay a gyaru attendant forever. xD" ~ I just don't have what it takes to make a good gyaru, there are so many requirements to reach.
But I feel soooo good with how it is now. I still want to try hard and improve, but I don't want to feel the pressure to fit the term "Gyaru". If I once reach the quality to proudly call myself "Gal", it'll be gorgeous - if not, who cares. =)

Enough about the whining and ups/downs of my life, I also brought some photos for you! xD

Before I forget - I've been asked which camera I am using, since I once mentioned the "magic function".
I'm having a "Fujifilm FinePix F200EXR", with the magic portrait function that makes skin appear smoother! ;) (like a purikura machine, haha!)

Tried sujimori again!
The strands are still too big, but I'm slowly getting into it! Ò__O/
My eyes look so derpy, haha!
I still want bigger lenses... my next buy is dedicated to a pair with a diameter of a minimum of 15mm! >////<

Making faces is funny sometimes...
...just to derp it out to the maximum. xD

Upcoming entrys (will be more reasonable then this one, I promise! lol):
The Macaron recipe I promised long ago! =)
I also wanna make a new blog design, but I don't know when I will find time for that... xD"

Prince-spiration & Prisila new collection ♥

I recently had to clean up the external drive of my PC, where I found a lot of Lolita inspirational pics. Thanks to that, I re-discovered my love for a male sub-style of Lolita: Dandy

My prince-spiration ♥
Photos mostly taken from taobao stores like Ichigo15, Infanta, HMHM.
So elegant! I love Dandy style, but I absolutely dislike Kodona (it’s a bit too tomboy-ish for my taste).

Since I'm already talking about Lolita-related things, I wanna introduce the new collection of Prisila wigs to you!
God knows I’m a sucker for prisila hairpieces! :´D

They came up with a brandnew Lolita-themed series and a new, brighter blonde haircolor! Sad point: They don’t come in the usual prisila color range, but only in light blonde, brown and black. =(
You can check out the new collection here

Some of the styles I love the most:

Awesome straight Hime-cut wig!
Do want! >///<

Fluffy curly short wig
Will go well with all styles, but I mostly get the classic vibe from it! <3

Curly hairfall
It’s actually a piece of their usual series – I do own two of them in LIYE, and often use them for my hairstyles. =)
They’re absolutely gorgeous, just as usual for prisila hairpieces ♥

From tomorrow on, I have to go back to school... I so lack the motivation for that. xD" But after day 2 is over, it'll get better, I know - starting off is the hardest part, just as always. xD"

I know school is starting for a lot of students tomorrow - how do you feel about it? How do you spend your last day of vacation?

New Year Resolution #2: Loosing weight! ♥

So, my weight has been going up and down the past years, which bothered me a lot all the way through – I think a lot of girls can understand me pretty well! Weight is always an important topic for us. =(

I’ve never been a slim girl, and I think I will never be – and it’s not my goal to look like a model. I just wanna look the best for ME, my size and figure. With a weight of 55~56kg, I always feel most comfortable – so that’s my goal. =)

The reasons why my weight is changing drastically and fast, I know very well…
When I am working at the hospital, I have to move around a lot – in that case, it’s not a big deal for me to stay at the 56kg border.
During school periods (which means a couple of weeks), I gain a MINIMUM of 2kg because I clearly lack that exercise! I do really study a lot (for school and driving license), which takes quite a lot of time… but besides that, I am really lazy – I have to admit it. xD

Those changes in my weight are really bothersome and frustrating, and I feel it’s time for me to try finding the perfect solution for me – which will definitely include a flexible exercise plan (that I can adjust to my shiftplans), a change in lifestyle and eating habits! Ò__O/

~ Rope jumping 3~4 times a week, at least 6 x 5minute periods
~ Train my problem areas after that
~ Reward myself with a hot bath. :´D
~ No carbs after 5 p.m.
~ Try to eat breakfast (I often skip on that, I admit… ^^”)
~ No energy drinks (The only kind of softdrinks I really LOVE. ;__;)
~ Drink Fruit Tea when I have the feeling that I wanna taste something sweet

With that method, I already lost 6kg last year – since I know it’s working for me, I’m very motivated to do this again! Ò__O/
Wish me luck! ;D

If you have any tips on dieting and home exercising (especially for arms and legs), I would appreciate a lot! =D

d.i.a - Encounter the rockish side of life! ♥

I realized I didn’t do any informational entrys lately, so today I wanna leave some informations about a brand that is getting really famous at the moment: d.i.a!

d.i.a is a brand dedicated to a playful, sexy and glamorous rokku-gal style. They do describe the style of the brand as “USA sexy” – pretty suitable I think, since they’re playing with denim, leather and plaid theme a lot. =)

The brand is getting more and more famous at the moment, it is mostly featured in egg magazines! Here are some photos out of egg 12/2011 for you! =)
(scans taken from zasshiko.com)
Those photos represent d.i.a very well, I think – they show off the sexy and glamorous clothes, such as the always blingy-belts which are definately d.i.a’s best-sellers! ♥

These boots so catchy! *___*

Style elements that d.i.a does often use are animal prints, very used denim, sexy knit-wear, golden buttons, chains and the like.

The cut of the clothes are definitely more revealing then covering. A combination of tank-top with matching arm-warmers is often seen recently. Most shirts also have a very deep cut-out on the back, often decorated with golden chain accessorys. Not to forget that d.i.a does also offer a range of sexy printed Tees with a deep neckline. Pants/Shorts are mostly very tight fitting and made of very used or even ripped denim.

As mentioned above, d.i.a is mostly famous for their hot belts! They’re made of high quality leather, decorated with extreme blingy elements like giant belt buck-buckles, golden chains, rabbit fur, feathers, skulls… and the list goes on!

Following photos are taken from d.i.a tumblr, check it out here! =D

And god said: "Let there be BLING!"
A shop staff showing off her sexy d.i.a belt! Now if that isn't rockish! *___*

d.i.a's display window
Furry legwarmers are a big trend since winter 2010, and it doesn't seem to stop! =D

Random sexy girls purikura ♥
Showing off typical d.i.a coordinates! I love how they twin ♥

d.i.a’s sizes do definitely run small, I would say a tad smaller then japanese clothes already are by nature. Most of the clothes by this brand do run as “free-size”, which will fit an S size comfortably. On an M size it will be a very tight fit already, L size should be kinda impossible to fit in. =/
The price range of this store is on a medium level. Most shirts go by 50€~70€, depending on how detailed the design is. The infamous blingy belts go for 100€~140€!

If you now cought an interest in this brand, here’s the tricky part:
d.i.a does NOT host an webstore - their clothes are exclusively available in stores only. You can find them in Tokyo (Shibuya 109), Kyoto (OPA) and Okinawa (??).

So how to get d.i.a wear at all?
The magic word is “mbok”. ♥ mbok (or “mobauko) is a japanese auction site, just like Ebay.

As many Gal brands, d.i.a does have an own tag there – at this moment, there are 2899 items for sale! Now if that isn’t a count! *___*
Check all of them out behind this link!

To shop from mbok, you will need a shopping service that caters japanese auction sites. Here are two of them, that I can recommand:

~ Japonica – Very nice staff, fast handling, good packaging of goods, taking paypal and credit card.
~ Celga – (I don’t use them as much, since one shop staff once got rude at me – their service is very great, otherwise.) fast handling, easy ordering system, does require a sign-up, taking paypal and credit card, fast shipping

Not to forget!
Since d.i.a is getting so famous amongst Gals at the moment, the brand is often sold second hand at the western gal sales community! But beware, you need to be very fast to catch the items – a lot of girls are after them. ;)

If you’re searching for an cheaper or bigger sized alternative, you might want to try Yumetenbo’s Glamorous Line. They have a few items up that resemble d.i.a’s style, like this hooded Tee, lace-cut out shirt, and this cardigan with golden buttons and detachable collar.

To end up this informational post, I wanna show you two of very impressive shop staffs from d.i.a! They’re pulling off the style so super well – so inspiring!

Yayo
She's mostly famous for her amazing hair and style!

I would kill for that hair...

She does pull of the recent trend of grey hair so well!
A straight sujimori hairstyle is often seen with rokku gal! ♥

Not a d.i.a coordinate, but I love just love Yayo so much in this photo...
Now I want a dark Yukata to pull off that style, too. XD"

Yurina
Does go for the more simple pieces of d.i.a!

She is so cute! I will try this hairstyle after I got my haircut this week! *__*

White suits her so well!

But she does also rock black... so hard to decide which outfit is better! :´D

I do absolutely admire this brand, since it is so unique for me! I’ve never seen that edgy, sexy and glamorous rokku style before but at d.i.a. And… look at all the bling! D: How could I not love that? XD”

I hope I got everything right – those are the informations I collected over a long time, but I’m not an expert after all. Lol

Did you ever hear about d.i.a? How do you like that style? It is extreme for sure! ;)

It's such a sweet, sweet life, isn't it?

(Belated) HAPPY NEW YEAR! ♥

Belated post since I've been travelling and studying a lot the past days, so sorry for that! The next upcoming entry I've written on the train. lol

I wanna wish you all a happy new year, may 2012 be greater and happier then every year you experienced before! Stay happy, healthy and fashionable! ;D

Thanks for following me all the way through 2011, I'm so thankful to have so many readers that like my crappy blog! ;___; You motivate me to keep going, thanks so much!

Did you make new year resolutions?
I rarely keep mine, but that doesn't stop me from making some. xD"

- move together with my BF
- loose a little weight (on my list EVERY year. lol)
- do my driving license
- try to not be as sensitive anymore
- wear lolita more often / attend more meetups

BONUS:
I went snow hiking some days ago!
This is the view we had when we reached the viewing platform ♥

♥MERRY CHRISTMAS♥

I wasn't posting for ages, so sorry for that - I've had a very stressful time, which ended this week with me laying in bed sick from NORO-Virus. xD"
Anyways, I'm getting better now! Christmas spirit revives my stamina! ♥

♥ I just wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas, and very peaceful and unforgettable holidays! May you all eat a lot of nice christmas food and spend a wonderful time with family and friends! Be well and have a good time! ♥

The christmas cookies I was baking for my Honey! ^///^

I just have to end it up with some outfit photos, since they're laying around my PC for so long time already! =(
I feel guilty letting them collect dust... xD

Outfit for the Christmas Party (Weihnachtsfeier) of my wardTaken after the party... I look so wasted. Sorry to abuse your eyes. xD"
I was kinda satisfied with the outfit, it turned out as fluffy and wintery as I wanted!
Goal for 2012: Loosing at least 5kg of weigt. NORO-Virus already killed 2kg, so at least 3kg to go! XD

Crappy close-up...
...obviously taken in front of my bathroom mirror. xD"
My photos are getting worse with every post... I should really do something about that in 2012. xD"
I was inspired by a hairstyle from december Ageha, but it was so hard to re-style it with my prisila hairpieces. I'm not 100% satisfied with it, therefore. =(

Outfit from weeks ago...
I wanted to try out my new prisila hairfalls, so I came up with this... in the end, I didn't like it at all. It looks way too childish for me - I will only wear this hairstyle with Lolita from now on. =(
The rest of the outfit was pretty okay, I think.
Sorry for me bending awkwardly forward. xD"

Obligatory blurry webcam shot taken at the same day! xD

Enjoy your Christmas Holidays! ♥
