Weekend plans ♥

Hey sweethearts, how are you doing? =D - I hope you´re all having a gorgeous time! x3

~This one will be more of a personal entry, not really an informational one - just to let you know, I don´t wanna bore you. =)~

This weekend, there´s a japanese festival held at my city - there will be a lot of visitors from Japan, that are coming from a japanese partnership-town of my city! My dear friend Chiho-chan will be coming, too - I´m so looking forward to meet you again, Krümelchen! x3

And since it´s a summer festival - I figured it´s the best decision to wear my Gal Yukata! *__*
I would love to try wearing it a bit more sexy and unique...

...like this!
Really challenging, since I don´t wanna look cheap. I hope I can pull it off like the model does, she´s so BREATHTAKING pretty! >///<

So, I didn´t wear Yukata for about 1 year...
That´s why I spent this afternoon trying to relearn how to put it on perfectly. lol

Even though I´ve got a lot of equipment that makes putting on the Yukata pretty easy (koshi himo, obi ita, etc.), I still needed 1 1/2 hours (!) to finish. x__X
Too many bows to tie, too many laces to get in place, too much accessory to pin on.
But well, that´s what makes a Gal Yukata pretty much... Gal. XD" = I simply suck in putting it on right now. lol

I used to even tie my obi on my own, which is quite complicated - but managable.
Now I got a pre-tied one, and guess what - takes me the same time to put that one on, since it´s tied with a string that just doesn´t want to stay in place. ~__~

*bothered me the most this afternoon*

Anyways, I´ll give it another try tomorrow. I need to practise so that I won´t look too silly this weekend.
If I really can´t manage it, I´ll just go out in my new Liz Lisa dress. lol

When I was looking for inspirational photos on yumetenbo, I found these cute kid´s modeling in Yukata!

Enough space for diapers! xD
That´s really somewhat cute, don´t you think so? :´D

But I like this one even better!2piece set with a cute bow!

I´ll try to take some photos of my outfit and the festival, and post it here soon! =)

BONUS:
My recent nails. ^^
It´s school time now, so I´m finally allowed to wear long/fake nails again! :´D
It´s a bit more rokku style - I`m really into that right now!
The thumb nail has got a big crown on it. And there´s a little pendant attached to the ring finger, it has got a bow and a heart that is saying: "Made with love"
x3

Have a gorgeous time! =D

It´s such a sweet, sweet life, isn´t it?

:´D ♥

I so love Vanquish for those panty´s!
Goes straight to my one-hot-panty collection! xD

No beating around the bush...
AWESOME. *__*
made of some extra coolness.

I remember one saying... The way to the heart goes through the stomache?
Now I got the meaning. :´D

More reasonable entry coming up soon, I swear! xD"

A day in the life of Satomin ♥

Today, I wanna share an article with you - maybe some of you know that one already. =)
It´s a report about the daily life of Ageha model Satomi Yakuwa, aka Satomin!

A team of CNN reporters followed her on a photoshooting for one day, also asking some personal questions about her work as a hostess as well! It´s a very interesting article, check it out here:
A day in the life of a japanese "hostess"

Did you know that some of the gyaru trends are started by the models themselves? I didn´t know that they often bring their own outfits to the shootings - they´re influencing the latest trends, so gorgeous!
Stupid me always thought that there are a lot of stylists around the models everywhere. o__O"

Now all those beautiful Gyaru models deserve my deepest respect even more then ever before. They put so much effort in everything!
It does really encourage me to put some more effort in the style, too! >///<

Gyaruo Yukata LOVE ♥

I´m currently working on the nightshift, so my day-night rythm is messed up perfectly. I feel like a vampire now... everytime I see the sunlight, I feel a horrible headache. Too liiiight! xD"

Anyways, I´ll get over that.

Time for blogposting now! =D

A very famous trend for Gyaru around summer(festival) time: Wearing a super cute over the top deco-ed Yukata!

Sakurina is showing it off so well... I still love her for all the Yukata photoshootings she did.
Some possible elements of a Gal Yukata: Less traditional print (lace, butterfly´s, bows, etc.), lace details, big hair and hair accessory, a lot of deco on and around the obi belt.

And now for the best accessory: Sexy Gyaruo date/boyfriend/whatever who´s wearing a smokin hot Gyaruo Yukata. xD
*lame joke is lame, sorry - blame it on my lack of sleeping. lol*

Finally getting to the point: Today´s post will be about Gyaruo Yukata - I´ll also provide you some webshop links, where to shop for them! =D

But first...
Ahhhw... how gorgeous they look alltogether! Main pieces (visible) of a Gyaruo Yukata: Yukata (main garment), obi (belt), geta (sandals)
Some possible elements of a Gyaruo Yukata: less traditional pattern (pinstripes, leo print, tiger print, etc.), obi worn in a low position, necklaces

I really love the Yukata that CRAZE is selling atm, check them out at their webshop: craze.jp
They also have got a lot of other really hot Gyaruo items, including some really nice jewelry! =)

Leo print Yukata set (Yukata, obi, geta)*__*
I´m a sucker for leo prints in grey or blue, so I can´t help it but love this one! ~///~
Even though I don´t really like the model in it... he looks lost a bit. xD"

Pinstripe Yukata set (Yukata, obi, geta)
Ever since I saw my first pinstripe Yukata somewhere, I deeply fell in love.
But I got the feeling that a silver-ish obi might be looking even more gorgeous with it. o.O"

Next store on my list is VICE FAIRY - my absolute all time favorite when it comes to Gyaruo fashion! ~///~
Come to visit their webshop here: royal courageux - vice fairy

A bit more colorful... (Yukata, obi)
Obviously, most Gyaruo Yukata are dark colored - for example grey, blue, black. This is the first lilac one I stumbled upon, really nice! =D
And gosh, that model is gorgeous! I wish I knew his name, he´s pulling every pose so perfectly! Maybe one of you readers can help me out with it? I would appreciate a lot! ~///~

My favorite! (Yukata, obi)
*gasp*
Oh yes, I deeply love this coordinate! The cool silver Yukata with a bit more traditional pattern, combined with a black obi with leo print (not really visible, sorry).
And look how low he´s wearing his obi! Must look kinda sloppy to most japanese people, but I can´t help but find it handsome! ~////~

The little black one... (Yukata, obi)
...with a smashing red obi! *__*
Simply hot! And again, a low worn obi ~

The last store on my list is SILVER BULLET, which is selling a bunch of lovely Gyaruo Yukata by CavariA! Come to check them out here: silver bullet

Rather simple look from far... (Yukata, obi)
But the print of the Yukata contains a very fine leo print and pinstripes combined together! :´D Haha, it´s a nice detail I think!

Black feather Yukata (Yukata, obi)
This print is just stunning to me! *___*
I´m a sucker for feather prints, and this one is just EPIC! I especially love the combination with the grey leo printed obi ♥

Haha, I kinda feel like playing dress up with my BF now ~ xD

Anybody sharing my weird Gyaruo Yukata love now? =)

Can´t wait until new Ageha is out! O///O

I feel like I really slacked off in fashion recently. =(
I didn´t have a lot of time to read fashion magazines, dress up pretty and style myself every day - and to be honest, most days I didn´t even feel like it. xD"

For work (nurse), I have to dress up in a dull uniform... long nails, fake lashes and hair accessory is not allowed, jewelry is forbidden too. And of course, hair has got to be tied. I usually dont´mind and dress up in my freetime only, but since I didn´t have a lot of freetime recently... well, you know the result. xD"

Anyways. I`m back on the train now! Ò__O/
I read the past issues of Ageha, and I LOVED the Yukata & Kimono styles! :´D Makes me wanna wear my Gal Yukata again
I already thought about selling it actually, since I just rarely have the chance to wear it... but now that I saw all those gorgeous photos on Ageha, I really feel like wearing it again soon - maybe on next week´s summer fireworks in my town

I can´t wait for the next issue of Ageha! So many new trends I already missed due to my hiatus... I really need to check up on the latest fashion, or I`ll never be satisfied again! Ò///ó

But even though I didn´t do any Gyaru attempts recently, I didn´t loose my passion for this fashion style - and bought some new items! x3 I took photos of a few of them...

New Bikini!
I already have a very princessy pink Bikini, but this year I wanted something more Agejo
I so love the pink lace and the cute bows!
Unfortunately... the weather in Germany is ***. ~__~ Freakin´ cold and rainy, so no need for a Bikini yet... BUT my time will come. *__*
Found it at a store at rakuten

Liz Lisa Replica
I was doing a taobao order to get the boots below, when I found this dress for incredibly cheap - so I just had to go for it! >///<
It´s so wonderful! Perfect shape, lovely rose print, light but not seethrough, and soft nice quality lace! I`m super happy with it... but it´s really short on me, so I gotta wear lace shorts underneath. xD"

Liz Lisa Replica OVK boots
You might remember that I desperately tried to get the original Liz Lisa boots looong time ago. I already paid to the shopping service, she bought my boots, but then the parcel got lost somewhere in China. ~__~
Of course they sold out soon after. But I so fell in love with those boots that I just had to get them... and I went for the replica, which is about a quarter of the originals price. xD"
They´re not perfect (especially the shoe laces... they´re different, I would have preferred the ribbons. =/), but still okay.

New Yorker´s romper
Saw it at the blog of a german girl and I knew I just had to go for it! *__* It´s such a gorgeous find, so comfortable and sexy!
I had a big surprise when I went shopping for it. Apparently I have lost some weight. O__O" I didn´t even realize it, since I don´t have a scale at my apt - but now I fit into an S size at every german clothing store, I can´t believe it! The last time I wore S... I was around 17 years old, dammit. XD"
So working too much all the time seems to have paid off. xD" (At least one good thing about it... ^^")

Since a lot of Gal´s are interested in this romper, I even thought about doing a shopping service for it - my local New Yorker´s store still has some of it in stock.
Spread the Gyaru love. =)

That´s it for now! I wanna finish off with one of my favorite photos that I took during my hiatus...
On the way back to my apt - isn´t it lovely? =D
So rare to see a rainbow around my area, it´s probably only the third one I ever saw in my whole life. The colors are so bright and warm!

How´s the weather around your area?
I hope far better then in Germany - have a nice summer all of you! x3

Blog Award ♥

I didn´t even think about that something like that might happen to me one day... but I got a Blog Award! O__O" It´s so amazing, and I`m so thankful! That really motivates me to keep on blogging, making every entry more interesting and fashionable! (Still not satisfied with my blog now! xD")

Thanks a thousand times to the lovely Emilie Bailly, who has given me the award! Check out her lovely blog koakuma closet, she´s got such great style! She´s in Japan now, and will surely blog about the latest trends and 109 soon - can´t wait! x3 And even just the layout of her blog is worth a taking a peek - smokin' hot! ;D

Following the rules of the "One lovely blog" award, I gotta write down the following things! x3

7 random facts about myself:

1) I used to be a tomboy until I turned 16 years old. xD" I was growing up with a lot of boys in the neighbourhood, family and friends. I even wore boys pants, and cut my hair really short. ^^"
2) I don´t have a driving license. ~ I`m weak when it comes to seperating left side and right side, and there was pretty much no need for me to do the test yet (I`m living at the city, so driving a car around her is pretty much stressful anyways. xD"). But I feel I`m getting too old now, so I`ll start taking lessons next month. xD"
3) I´m the most clumsy person in the universe.
I drop everything. I accidentally hurt myself every day. I stain my clothes at every meal. ~__~"

4) I´ve got extremely good eyes and ears
- that´s why I`m bothered by noise easily.

5) My favorite movies atm are Transformers part 1 to 3! (Even though the acting of the chick in the latest movie is freakin´ annoying. I want Megan Fox back! Dx)
6) One of my worst habits is drinking too much coffee every day.
I need about 4 cups in the morning, at least 1 or 2 cups while work, and very often 2 more cups after I return back home again. ^^" It´s really unhealthy, so I try to decrease the number of cups now. xD"

7) My sleeping/living/dining/working-room (lol. It´s one big room used for all those purposes) is perfectly pink, a real princess room! Pink walls with crowns and butterflies (like my blog design! x3), a pink princess bed, pink curtains, pink bedsheets, giant pink plush pig (his name is Hector, I´ll introduce him some later. xD)... but there´s still some deco missing. As soon as I finished mission "princess room" perfectly, I´ll show you some photos! x3

It´s a honour for me to give this "One Lovely Blog" Award to:

I could continue this list forever, since I`m following so many gorgeous blogs! But those are the ones that inspire me the most, or thought me the most! =)

A Few Rules for everybody getting the award:
1. Link back to the person who passed you the award.
2. Share 7 random facts about yourself.

3. Award 15 blogs.

4. Drop them a note and tell them about it!

CONGRATULATIONS! ♥

Did you know that the japanese Team won the woman soccer worldcup some days ago? =)

Haha, I guess the woman soccer worldcup was more or less a big deal just in Germany, since we were the hosts this time. A lot of people might not have even realized... unfortunately! Some of the matches were really exciting! =)

As far as I know, it´s the first time EVER that a japanese soccer team (woman AND man) won a worldcup.
OH YES GIRLS, you´re all gorgeous! Show the guys how it´s done! xD
CONGRATULATIONS ♥

YOU ROCK!
Found this freakin' cool little girl at a prisila halfwig advertise. Such a cute little rockstar! xD

Looks like I´ll have a bit more spare time in the future weeks, so I`m back to blogging now! x3
I´ll start off with answering all the comments I got, sorry for late reply! >///< But I didn´t want to answer the comments in a hurry, that´s so impolite. =(

Gal-Lolita coordinate ♥

Oh man, I´ve got exactly 12 minutes to do this blogpost now ~ my Internet access is a bit limited now due to busy working schedules. lol

But still! I wanted to do this post for long time, so I`ll just go for it now! Ò__O/

Gyaru and Lolita - those styles seem so perfectly different.
While Gyaru is mostly about beeing super up-to-date in fashion and sexy, Lolita is more on the pure side and related to the fashion of the victorian age.

But even though those styles seems so different, I strongly believe they can mix up well.
Fashion is about beeing creative and open to new things - always developing. That´s how I feel. =)
And if you´re a reader of the Ageha magazine, you surely have seen all the great Gal-Lolita attempts in the last few mag´s! (I really LOVE them!) EXAMPLE HERE ♥

So I was often imaging how to mix up my two favorite fashion styles... I have so many coordinates in mind!
Today, I wanna show you one of the coordinates I threw together (just in my mind ~ I don´t own all of the items... not yet. *__*)

Kind of... Liz Lisa Lolita? XD"
When that dress showed up on the Bodyline webstore, I immediately thought of Liz Lisa´s winter collections... maybe because of the florals? =) Anyways, that inspired me to create this Gal-Lolita coordinate.

The hairstyle is a very simple side tail. The cream colored headbow should be sitting on the roots of the tail, while the canotier is worn more on the right side.
A very important part is the eye-make up ~ to mix in some Gyaru elements. Long, dolly lashes and warm colors would be fine, I think! =D
I don´t think I need to explain the rest, it´s pretty obvious how it is worn. =3

Rundown:
BODYLINE ~ One Piece, Canotier, Hairbow
Baby, the stars shine bright ~ Parasol, Necklace, Earrings, Wristcuffs
Liz Lisa ~ Overknee Boots, Strawbag
Prisila ~ Hairfall wig
Dear Celine ~ Cardigan

I think it´s a pretty nice balance of lolita and gal elements - and I`ll definately try that one out! Ò__O/
I already own some of the items shown above, and I`ll go for the rest soon. x3

Did you ever try a Gal-Lolita coordinate? How was the reaction of other Lolitas and Gals?
I know mixing those two styles is a very troublesome topic, so I really wonder about this! =)

One more...Haha, this one was taken weeeeeks and weeks ago. My first time wearing out my Rose Toilette OP - I was soooo proud! :´D

Rundown:
Angelic Pretty ~ Bonnet, OP, Socks
Baby, the stars shine bright ~ Parasol
Bodyline ~ Cardigan
Dream of Lolita ~ Bag
Wig ~ cosplaywigusa.com
Random ~ Hairbow clipped onto the bonnet, Jesus Diamante style shoes

Strawbag customization ♥

I prepared this entry weeks ago, but I never found the time to edit and post it. =/
Before this entry´s going to die on my desktop painfully, I rather post the raw version now. XD" (Sorry, I`m still lacking the time for a proper, perfect post~ T__T)

Hope you´re all doing well girls, have a gorgeous summer! =D

It´s summer time now - time for light dresses, stylish hat´s, and of course strawbags! Haha, at least for me, strawbags are a big MUST-HAVE during every summer season. =)

Ever since I found out about Liz Lisa and Curvy´s, I fell so in love with their deco-ed accessory´s and bags - especially the strawbags of the spring&summer collections!

So cute!Liz Lisa Bags: left upper corner, right lower corner
Curvy´s Bags: right upper corner, left lower corner

But I never got myself to buy one in the end...
Some weeks ago, I found a very nice looking and cheap strawbag at a discounter, such as lot´s of cute flowers and ribbons - and so I decided to deco my own strawbag.
(NOTE: I didn´t do any crafting since I was maybe 15 years old. xD")

This is the outcome!
Haha, quite different from the bags shown above - but I still love it to death! =D

It was so easy to customize the bag! Definately worth a try, it´s really fun - and it can also safe some money. =)
I took a few pictures / walkthrough for you, to see how easy it is to create your own cute strawbag! =D

Up on the pictures! x3

Some of the material I used:
NEEDED:
~ plain strawbag (you can find them pretty much everywhere now, and for quite cheap! Mine was about 10€, if I remember right!)
~ plastic flowers / ribbons / dolls / whatever you find cute! =)
~ different ribbons
~ pearls or some other blingy things
~ glue gun (VERY important! You could try another kind of glue, too - but using the hot glue is the fastest and most solid way)

ADDITIONAL (if you´d like to add a drawstring closure like mine):
~ some cute fabric (I used and old tuniq that I didn´t wear for ages)
~ tape measure / pins / matching thread to your fabric / sewing needle / maybe sewing machine
~ sturdy ribbon

AMOUNT OF TIME:
Depending on how many details you wanna add. =)
My customization took me about 3 hours (mainly because of the *** sewing part. xD")

At first, I started with sewing the drawstring closure - this is an additional step and not really required. I just wanted to add it to my bag, because I feel more safe when no stranger can take a straight look into my bag. xD"

Sorry, I didn´t take much photos of this step, because I`m such a NOOB in sewing (especially when using a sewing machine. xD"). I guess it wouldn´t be a great help anyways. =/

This is the outcome of my amateurish try´s. xD"
Top: Those ruffles were added to the seems of the sleeves of the tuniq. I just cut them off from each side, and sewed the two of them together again to get one big line of ruffle.
Bottom: I cut two big rectangles out of my tuniq, and sewed them together at the short sides. Then I prevented the edges of the fabric from fraying with using a special kind of zig-zag stitching of the sewing machine. Next step was sewing a kind of tunnel on the top of the big rectangle. When I finished all the sewing, I slowly pushed a sturdy ribbon through this tunnel - to create the drawstring closure effect.

Aaargh, sorry. It´s so hard to explain that, so you may rather check some tutorials about "drawstring sewing" on the internet. =(
Sorry, but I don´t have the time to research for suitable links now, plz forgive me that! Dx

Here´s the outcome anyways!
After glueing the fabric inside the bag:
Not perfect (since not perfectly closing all the way up... lol), but still nice! XD"

After the sewing was done, I started decorating the outside of the bag. =)
I found a cute heart lace at a department store, and I just had to stick it onto the bag ♥
It´s plastic lace, so it´s easy to clean... but a tiny bit itchy therefore! xD"

Adding the lace...
I sued the glue gun to stick the lace to the bag. I glued the edge of the ribbon right behind one of the handles, so that nobody will recognize the beginning and ending of lace.
I only used small dot´s of glue every 5cm to stick the lace on the bag, to make the glue more invisible. (lace = has got lot´s of holes = easy to see shiny glue SOLUTION: only use small dot´s of glue every 5cm. =D)

Outcome...
Pretty nice, but still so naked...

So let´s add some flowers (or the cute deco that you prefer most)! =D
First, just lay the deco down on your bag to see what it looks like - don´t use the glue yet!
Just to get an idea how to arrange the deco at it´s best. =)

HINT: If you wanna glue a lot of different kind of / size of pieces on your bag, make sure you arrange the biggest parts first - then arrange the smaller parts after that. This will make coordinating your deco a lot easier for you! =)

Once you made up your mind, you can start glueing one by one...
This is how my bag came out after that...
As you can see, I rearranged the flowers - my first idea wasn´t the best, I found out. xD"

The bag´s look is pretty sweet already, but I wanted it to be more cute and princessy...So I made myself a big bow of one of the ribbons I bought before, and glued it at one corner of the bag. (You can find an example how to make a cute bow here! =D)
There was still some princessy bling-bling missing, so I glued on some different sized white pearls that I found somewhere around my house. =)
(Not easy to see them on the photos. =( It´s looking way more elegant and blingy in real life!)

FINISHED~
I decided to leave the bag like this. =)
As much as I love over-the-top deco-ed things... in this case, I prefer this simple and a bit more elegant look! =D

So that´s it for now! =D
I hope I could give you some inspiration to decorate your own super cute strawbag! If you do so, I would love to see some photos of the outcome! ;D

Have a great summer! =D

It´s such a sweet, sweet life, isn´t it?

Hiatus =(

Hey sweethearts, how are you all doing? I hope you´re having a gorgeous time, enjoying the upcoming summer! =)

Unfortunately, I`m on a hiatus right now - I really need to focuss on working and studying right now, so there´s not much time left for surfing the net. ^^"
Even now, I don´t have enough time for a big entry. Just wanted to give a livesign. xD"

I´ll be back sooner or later! >////< (I definately DON´T want to abandon my blog)

BONUS:
My new set of deco nails (and my deco-ed cellphone)

Have a gorgeous time! =D
And thanks to all the subscribers of my blog, none of you unfollowed me yet - even though I wasn´t posting for ages! T__T Thank you so much!
